Pearl barley is derived through peeling, grinding and polishing of barley grains. This results in the slightly spherical barley shape. Depending on sieving, a distinction can be made between large, medium and small barley grains.
Pearl barley is excellently suited as a addition to soups and stews, and has a cooking time of approx. 30-40 minutes. Müller's Mühle Pearl Barley can be purchased in a 250g carton box.
