Müller’s Mühle is the quality German brand for rice and pulses. It stands for trust and tradition, as well as expertise and careful attention to selection and processing. All this since 1893. Müller’s Mühle guarantees its consumers excellent, traditional top quality.
Since 1989, Müller’s Mühle is part of the VK Mühlen AG group of companies and is one of the largest refiners of rice in Europe; and as unchallenged market leader for pulses it is the largest processor of peas, beans and lentils in Northern Europe. Around 150 employees work at Müller’s Mühle’s headquarters, the domestic port in Gelsenkirchen - Schalke. A production capacity of approx. 120 thousand tons achieves a turnover of approx. 60 million Euro.
For years, the company has been certified according to the international quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001. Production and packaging comply with the up-to-date HACCP Guidelines and the EU Directive 178/2004 for traceability. Additional internationally recognised and comprehensive quality assuring standards accompany the entire production process.
Müller’s Mühle has one of the most modern rice mills in Europe and offers top-quality rice with the highest quality, pulses of selected varieties, cereal products, starches and sugar variants, as well as industrial flour and many more. The product range, quality and packaging are based on the requirements of domestic and European trade partners and downstream companies. The product supply is designed for domestic connoisseurs of traditional or modern cuisine as well as for professional operators or chefs of companies that serve non-domestic consumers.
The brand’s logo continues to display the well known and popular Müller figure, which still stands for traditional, technical and reliable Müller expertise. With the new slogan "Müller’s Mühle.
